Arriving in the big city, Team Rose changed tactics: since Team Sonic were hunting Eggman, all they had to do was find Eggman. Amy, determined to make Sonic hers by force, then has her team fight Sonic's. After escaping the local Power Plant, Team Rose found Team Sonic. After defeating Eggman, Team Rose followed Amy's hunches to Grand Metropolis. Starting their search, Team Rose eventually had a run-in with Dr. Regrouping, the quartet then set out to find their friends, forming Team Rose. As they pondered on their only clue, Amy nearly lost it to a breeze, but Big and Cream got it back. Furthermore, the only clue they had to their friends' whereabouts was a picture of Sonic with Froggy and Chocola in the local newspaper.
